Fall is arguably the best time to visit New York City. The summer heat usually gives way for a pleasant warmth (which was unusually humid this year). The blue and white sky and the crisp air makes almost every picture a piece of art - you just need to find a nice location, such as Pier 45 on the west side as shown here and you can fill easily your memory card, because everything looks so fantastic.

So get a ticket and come here, before winter and an icy breeze turns every walk around the block into an ordeal.
